Local training events will start in January 2021. Please check back occasionally for updates

Jan 2021

  • NCWLO Annual Meeting, Jan 24, 2021- please email Angela Cherry, president@ncwlo.org if you missed the meeting. Please note that only adult officials should attend or inquire about the meeting.

Feb 2021:

  • After Jan 24, 2021 Officails who have paid dues may access the 2021 Rule Interpretation Recording via the confirmation email sent from notifications@leagueathletics.com. A link with the recording and the follow up questions (that are required for credit) is in that confirmaion email. In order to receive credit you must watch the video and complete all questions with a passing score.
    • Email assignor2@NCWLO.org if you have issues accessing the video and questions after receiving your confirmation email.

Returning Officials

If you are a Returning Officials 2+ years experience your training session is on: 

Saturday: 2/6 - 8:30-10:30am  - this will be your last virtual training to attend, however, ALL Google Classroom assignments must be completed.

New Officials

If you are an Officials with 0-1 year experience and any official who feels they'd like a recap, your training sessions are on: 

Saturday 2/6 - 11am-12:30pm and  Sunday 2/7 - 8:30am-10:30am

BOTH of these sessions MUST be attended. 

The virtual classroom trainings listed above are for all officials who have registered for the 2021 season.  A separate e-mail will be sent to you with login details, however please mark your calendars based on the above.  Any questions related to training - please email: 


Annual Training Check List:


Register on NCWLO (Register)

  1. Register with US Lacrosse, link included with NCWLO registration above.
  2. Complete Training Tasks with in the US Lacrosse E-Learning Portal (Must have a valid and current US Lacrosse Officials Membership in order to access. A copy of the completed task will show on your USL transcript and membership.)
    1. Adults only, complete and pass background check which is part of US Lacrosse registration.
    2. Complete 2020 US Lacrosse Girls' Rules Changes Webinar (Link)
    3. US Lacrosse Cultural Competency Course (Select catalog and then courses and type the name in the search bar)
    4. Complete NFHS & USL Youth Rules Test with passing score (Link)- Adults Only, combination test
    5. Complete US Lacrosse Youth Rules Test with passing score (Link)  - Juniors Only, single test
  3. Complete Classroom Training which is a combination of virtual meetings and completion of Google Classroom Assignments. (Feb 6 & 7th, see above)
  4. Attend Field Training and obtain a rating- Information Coming Soon- depends on COVID tiers
  5. Confirm registration on Arbiter for assignments and up date blocks for scheduling (Arbiter Sports)- coming soon, pending start date due to COVID tiers
  6. Complete NFHS Concussion in Sports Course (Link) and then  .


One time:

  1. Complete US Lacrosse Girls Lacrosse Rules Online Course (Link)
  2. Order Uniforms / Gear (Link)
  3. Set up Arbiter Pay account, if needed
